When I'm not working with clients or making NoteBooks or creating smiles with greeting cards, I'm usually involved in some type of volunteer work. I'm the leader of my daughter's Girl Scout troop, and I'm very proud to say that our troop of 4 high-school-aged girls are working on their Gold Award, which is the highest award a Girl Scout can achieve. I'm also involved with my son's Boy Scout troop, in which my son will become an Eagle Scout some day!

I'm also the treasurer for a non-profit group called the Goshen Farm Preservation Society. Goshen Farm is a 22-acre parcel of land in the Cape St. Claire community on the Broadneck Peninsula, in Anne Arundel County, MD (near Annapolis). The property boasts a 1790s era farmhouse, outbuildings, meadow, woods, and fruit trees. The property is rich in history, and the GFPS is working diligently to raise funds to restore the property to its original state so that it can become an educational center for this area of our county.
